Coaching for Young Women

What is a Life Coach?

I believe that all young women have greatness inside of them.  As your coach, I will see your greatest potential – even when you don’t see or believe it – and work with you to develop your strengths and become your greatest vision for yourself.  In our sessions, I will compassionately listen to your hopes and dreams and help you identify thoughts, behaviors, and situations that keep you from moving forward and reaching your fullest potential. Together, we will create an action plan that will empower you to discover your capabilities and accomplish your goals.

My unique coaching approach combines my extensive training and professional experience as a women’s health researcher, health educator, and founder of Helping Our Teen Girls In Real Life Situations, Inc. (HOTGIRLS)®, with my training as a Coaching and Positive Psychology (CAPP) Institute certified Personal Development Coach.

Note: Coaching is a different approach than therapy and coaching is not appropriate for everyone. Please read the FAQ’s for more information.

Private and Small Group Coaching

I offer life coaching for young women (ages 18-30) who want support in deepening their self-awareness, achieving their goals, dealing with challenges in their lives, improving their relationships, and/or stepping into their greatest vision for their lives.  As my client, you will meet with me on a regular basis and receive inspirational exercises in between sessions to help you make progress in your journey to greatness.

Private Coaching

Ongoing 45-minute private coaching sessions are held approximately three times per month, and each client is given a reserved and consistent time slot. Private clients can coach with me from the comfort of their own homes via phone/video Skype.

Small Group Coaching

Small group coaching provides a friendly and supportive place for young women and girls to support each other.  I am currently developing a new group coaching program for young women. Please check back soon for more information and sign up for my email newsletter to receive updates.

Rave Reviews from Young Women

“Dr. Carla Stokes is a remarkable, genuine, and down to earth person who is truly inspiring… What I love the most about her is her kind heart, humble spirit, and the fact that she is so easy to talk to. I remember many times when I sought her out for advice or council and she listened, and actively worked with me towards finding a solution. With her help I was able to overcome many obstacles in my life and now I am actively pursuing my goals with a positive attitude. She has motivated me to make each day a better one by taking it one step at a time, and I truly appreciate her for that because whenever you ask her for something, she is the type of person who is genuinely concerned and will go out of her way to help you.” – Daphne
