I hope you will join me for an upcoming event on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 6:30PM at Spelman College in Atlanta, GA (Science Center Auditorium) featuring my amazing 12-year-old mentee, Mary Pat Hector. We will discuss pertinent issues facing today’s youth and delve into the inspiration behind Mary Pat’s first book, “Easy Street Ain’t So Easy” and her work as the Founder and National President of Youth In Action. The book includes a resource guide and discussion questions for parents, educators, and concerned adults.
I will post highlights from the event and my interview with MaryPat on my blog next week!
